Vegan cheese sauce

This velvety vegan cheese sauce is deliciously creamy and low in fat and calories!

  • 200g unsweetend soya milk
  • 20g Nutritional yeast flakes, fortified with B12
  • 2 tbsps 00 grade plain flour
  • 0.25 tsps English mustard powder
  • 0.25 tsps onion powder
  • Method

    Place all of the ingredients into a blender and blitz until smooth.

    Pour into a saucepan and gently bring to the boil stirring all the time, reduce to a simmer and cook for a further 2-3 minutes until the sauce has thickened, if too thick add a little more milk until the desired consistency is achieved.

    TIP - Perfect for pasta dishes, nachos and on toast!
