This loaf makes a yummy accompaniment to any soup
Warm 500g strong white bread flour in a bowl adding 3 tsps baking powder and 1 tsp salt.
Mix 200g mashed cooked sweet potato with 300ml semi-skimmed milk and add to the flour mixing well with a knife.
Add 50g grated low-fat cheese and 1 tbsp freshly chopped chives.
Mould together into a ball and place on a baking tray.
Cut a cross in the top with a sharp knife and bake in a preheated oven for 35-40 minutes at 200c 400f Gas mark 6.
Test when cooked by turning the loaf over and tapping the base. It should sound hollow.
